About Garret
My name is Garret, I am currently completing my undergraduate degree at the University of Ottawa in Electrical Engineering. I love to row on the water, read books, and hang out with my friends. I have two years experience with teaching High School Math. I see Math as the one subject that continues to make the brain think, and also grow.

I learn best as a kinaesthetic learner. I think doing something is the number one way someone will be able to retain that information later on after the teaching session is done. My typical session would involve me teaching a certain method to solving a mathematical problem, then letting my student(s) solve the problem on their own. After they try to solve it, I go over the solution step by step in a simple manner. My classes are very adaptable. If a student is struggling I will help them in a fast and efficient manner to help the other students as well.
