About Amanda

Hi! I’m Amanda—a certified K–6 teacher with 10+ years of experience in both classroom and one-on-one settings. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood and Childhood Education with a Mathematics minor, and I’m currently completing my Master’s in Literacy Education. My background includes teaching in a wide range of school settings—urban and rural—and supporting diverse learners, including those with academic and social-emotional challenges. I have extensive experience administering assessments, identifying student needs, and implementing targeted interventions. My approach is strengths-based, empathetic, and tailored to your child’s learning style. Whether your child is behind, struggling with math confidence, or just needs extra practice, I’ll create a safe and supportive environment to help them grow.

I focus on building confidence, developing foundational math skills, and making math feel approachable and rewarding.
