About Donya
I am a Public Speaker, Published Author, and Public Educator who loves to teach young children the fun of reading. I have been a Public School Educator for 5 years for grades Pre-K to 5th Grade. I have been tutoring students to enhance their readinga and writing skills for the past 2 years or more. I believe that a child who has not grasped basic reading and writing skills in the early stages of learning will find it difficult to do so later on in life.

My teaching method is to understand that each child learns differently and I must tailor my lessons based on the educational skills/needs of each student. I have learned how to differentiate my lesson plans to reach my students where they are based on their individual educational needs/skills. As an Educator, I have learned that you must tailor your teaching and lessons based on the educational needs of each individual student. Also, I have learned that each student has their own individual style and way of learning because some students are visual learners and some are auditory learners.
