About Isaac
I currently work in the financial industry and love the impact I make but miss discussing scientific concepts, which is why I choose to tutor. I earned my degree while competing on the Elmhurst Men's Soccer Team and working as a polyurethane chemist. I also received the Senior Academic Excellence in Biology Award while working on a variety of research projects. I bring the same focus, resilience, and teamwork that helped me succeed in athletics to my tutoring—ensuring that students not only achieve their academic goals but also build lasting self-assurance in their abilities.

I focus on helping individuals develop study techniques and habits specific to their learning style. My goal is to provide guidance that is both thorough and gentle, so students can build confidence as well as understanding. Method I utilize diagrams, guided questions, and interactive examples to clarify complex concepts to help students discover answers for themselves beyond just memorizing material. Lesson Plan Breakdown - Review previous lesson - Introduction of new topic connecting it to real-world examples - Explanation of main content using diagram - Interactive practice through problem-solving, short quizzes, or discussion questions. - Summary of key takeaways to ensure clarity. - Assigning reflective work I bring a balance of discipline, patience, and challenge with a desire for my students to achieve a depth of knowledge and confidence. My lessons are most suitable for high school and early university students who are preparing for exams, working through coursework, or strengthening their foundational understanding.
