About Alice
I'm Alice and I have been practising medicine for over 5 years. Prior to medicine I undertook a medical biochemistry degree and continue to draw on concepts from this in my everyday life as a doctor. I have always been a very practical learner and sometimes struggled to see how certain aspects of medical school were relevant and this is how I like to help my students. I present topics in a patient-focused way in order to aid learning by grounding it in practical application, making topics seem a lot more relevant and therefore memorable. I have been involved in teaching for over 10 years and therefore have developed multiple techniques to adapt sessions to the learner, creating a better environment for concepts to be understood and retained.

30-60 minute sessions depending on the student. Use of realistic scenarios to emphasise the relevance of anatomy, physiology and pathophysiology as well as pharmacology. Learn why concepts are important and how they can affect your everyday practice. I graduated medicine in the UK in 2019 and have a wide experience of different specialities - working in A&E, medicine, surgery, ICU as well as working abroad in Africa. I have been involved in teaching a wide variety of healthcare professionals for many years through lecturing, small group activities and via online. Lessons are aimed at healthcare students - from paramedics, nursing, medical student, also aimed at healthcare professionals wanting extra support.
