About Ahshar

I am a senior at Emory University studying Data Science with a concentration in Biology. Throughout my academic career, I have developed strong skills in writing, research, critical thinking, and communication. As a university researcher, I regularly write reports, analyze complex information, and present findings to diverse audiences.

In addition to my academic experience, I have held leadership positions on campus that have strengthened my ability to mentor, communicate, and work with students from different backgrounds. I understand that every student learns differently, and I strive to create a positive, encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes.

About the lesson

Hello! My name is Ahshar, and I am a senior at Emory University. I provide personalized English tutoring for middle school, high school, and college students seeking to improve their reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary, and communication skills.

My teaching approach is student-centered and tailored to each learner's goals, strengths, and areas for improvement. During our first session, I assess your current skill level and identify specific objectives. From there, I create lessons that combine instruction, guided practice, feedback, and real-world application to help you make consistent progress.

Whether you need assistance with essay writing, reading comprehension, grammar, school assignments, test preparation, or public speaking, I strive to make learning engaging, interactive, and confidence-building. As a university researcher and student leader, I have extensive experience with academic writing, presentations, and professional communication, allowing me to help students develop skills that extend beyond the classroom.
