About Cameron
As an upper-year physics major at the prestigious University of Waterloo, I bring a unique perspective to tutoring, as I intimately understand the challenges students can face in their academic journey. During my elementary school years, I too struggled in my studies, until a remarkable teacher in grade 6 changed the course of my life. Through her guidance and unwavering belief in my potential, I gained the confidence I had lacked in previous years, allowing me to feel comfortable making mistakes and asking questions. This transformative change in mindset propelled me to reach new academic heights, earning me the physics award for the highest grade in the subject, and likewise the math award when graduating secondary school. As a result, I was honored to receive the prestigious President's Scholarship to the University of Waterloo.
During my 5+ years as a gymnastics coach, I have been honing my ability to do for others what my grade 6 teacher did for me. By creating a supportive and encouraging environment, I empower young minds to embrace challenges and foster a growth mindset that extends beyond the gymnasium. Combining my passion for education with my coaching experience, I am dedicated to providing personalized guidance and nurturing your child's academic and personal growth.
