About Colleen
Hi! I’m Colleen McGovern, a passionate and dedicated psychology tutor with a strong academic background and a deep love for the field. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Master of Science in General Psychology, and I’m proud to be a consistent straight-A student. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with middle school, high school, and college students, as well as collaborating with professors to help peers not only succeed academically, but also develop a genuine excitement for psychology. I know firsthand how overwhelming and frustrating it can be to tackle challenging material — and I’m here to guide you through it with patience, clarity, and encouragement. Whether you’re struggling with research methods, memorizing brain structures, or just need someone to break things down in a way that makes sense, I’m here to help you build confidence and mastery — and maybe even fall in love with psychology along the way.
