About Ksenia
I enjoy helping students develop skills and gain confidence with challenging concepts in Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Maths.
Having tutored 5000+ hours to students from a range of schools my aim is to get students to a level of independence where they no longer need a tutor.
Lessons are tailored to individual and group needs. I use diagnostic exercises, reinforce foundational knowledge, cover topics in depth, teach problem solving skills and exam techniques.
My lessons are supported by study materials carefully selected from a range of books, exam providers and online sources. Students are encouraged and given practice questions during lessons and for homework to consolidate their knowledge and understanding.
Outside tutoring I enjoy the arts - seeing exhibitions, painting, drawing and photography, reading, online learning and travel.

I offer engaging Maths and Science lessons for A-Level, IB and GCSE courses to help students master the subject.
Lesson content is selected to support students build confidence and independence in their chosen subject.
Students develop their ability even further with optional practice between lessons.
I tutor students who have fallen behind, need extra time to go over content, and those looking for an extra challenge outside of the syllabus.

Ksenia volunteered for the this site/UCL Chemistry Day 2018 aimed at A-Level students. Her range of duties on the day consisted of tutoring small groups of students during the Chemistry workshop and supporting the practical exercise in the laboratory.
Ksenia was punctual, demonstrated patience and engaged learners throughout the workshops and lab sessions. We were very happy that Ksenia was able to help out on the day.Ksenia taught my daughter Chemistry, Biology and Physics for one year in preparation for her GCSEs. I re commend her highly as a teacher. My daughter did not enjoy any of these subjects and was getting Bs for all of them. Ksenia brought her grades up to A*s. She started to enjoy the subjects more and gained confedence quickly. Ksenia was very organised with her teaching and provided extra work and set homework. She has a lovely disposition and is genuinely interested in her students and their progress.
Ksenia helped our daughter to achieve A* marks in GCSE exams in Biology, Physics and Maths. She is very organised, punctual, methodical and was able to motivate and encourage our daughter to challenge herself.
