About Melissa
When you come to my classroom, we will establish your learning goals and find out a little about what type of learning style suits you best. I really love helping students feel comfortable and confident speaking American English, and I'll have you sounding like a true American in no-time!
If you don't feel confident, I will explain and model things many different ways until you do.
I hold a B.A. and M.A. of arts in politics and international relations and have 17 years of experience teaching thousands of students from dozens of countries around the world.

Welcome to my classroom! I'm Teacher Melissa, and I teach English, test prep, and more. My goal is to find the easiest way to explain concepts based on your learning style. Whether you are a beginner or just want to sharpen your skills, tell me your goals and I'll help you reach them.
My teaching style is laid-back and flexible - come hang out with me and have some fun in a relaxing environment! I can adapt my style for children of all ages or adults, so all are welcome. I know how hard it is to learn a language, so I am always supportive and patient. I'm learning a couple myself!
