About Dexter
My background consists of me tutoring for five years and being hired at places such as Morgan State University, Grade Potential Tutoring, and Streamline Tutors. I have taught many students from kindergarten to college seniors, seeing massive increases not only in grades but in self-confidence. I graduated from Morgan State University with a degree in Civil Engineering but my gift of mathematics and my passion for teaching led me to my current occupation, teaching for Baltimore County Public Schools.

Most tutors strive to teach material as well as they can. While important, I find it imperative that students simultaneously connect with they tutors on an academic level as well as a social level. I create an environment built on honesty, vulnerability, and engagement. I want the student to know that I am not doing the work, just using a myriad of innovative techniques to guide them to a place where they develop the ability to thrive in any academic situation.
