About Rio
I am a committed ESL tutor with 4 years of experience teaching English to High School and College students. Teaching is important to me because it allows me to support students in their educational journey.
I have worked with around 150–200 students so far. One of the most rewarding milestones in my career has been seeing students improve their confidence and performance in English over time.
My teaching style is caring and structured. I focus on making lessons easy to understand and relevant to students’ academic needs. I encourage regular practice and active learning.
I believe students perform best when they feel supported. I listen to their concerns and adjust lessons to suit their goals and pace. I always aim to keep learning positive and motivating.
My goal as an ESL tutor is to help students succeed through strong communication skills and self-confidence.

I teach ESL using practical methods and real-life examples to make English meaningful and useful. Motivation is a core part of my approach—I inspire students to stay engaged, set goals, and celebrate achievements. Problem-solving exercises are included to strengthen critical thinking and language application.
Integrity guides my teaching—I give honest, constructive feedback and maintain a trustworthy learning environment. I am flexible and adapt lessons to meet each student’s pace, preferences, and learning needs.
Besides ESL, I can teach related subjects like grammar, writing, reading, and conversation. My goal is to help students gain confidence, practical English skills, and independence in learning.
