About Mitchell
I am an enthusiastic mathematics and engineering student. I hope to convey my passion for mathematics with you and show you how it is not as scary as it can seem. I have studied mathematics at university for over 3 years now, and taught high-school mathematics for the same period of time. I like to explain concepts with drawings and diagrams where possible, and I am happy to spend time on concepts with you and write personalized questions for you to help you deepen your understanding.

I take the time to teach mathematics in a way where the focus is on understanding the methodology rather than rote-learning a formula. I find this helps students to enjoy the subject much more and prepares them to be better problem solvers for more complex questions. My lessons range from an hour to two hours, though I am flexible and can meet whatever needs you require. I have had over 20+ different clients in my experience, mostly in grades 10 and above, and I am happy to give advice on all school-related topics. I have an extensive knowledge of the Australian school curriculum and know what teachers are looking for in academic work, this helped me to achieve an ATAR of 99.7 in 2020.
