I am really happy and grateful that James was my tutor. I can honestly say that without him, I would not have gotten into Oxford. At first, I thought that meeting with him on a weekly course would be useful because it would force me into doing past papers on a regular basis. However, after completing a few papers and going through them with him, he provided me with a new perspective. Instead of simply telling me how to do it correctly, we would explore where I went wrong and what other methods could achieve the correct answer. I believe that this was fundamental in developing my problem solving skills, which certainly came in handy when I was completing the PAT.
