About Ann
I am an engineering professor offering guidance with statics, concrete design, and structures courses. I have been a teaching assistant for the past six years and developing my own courses as a professor for the past year. I have had two years of industry experience in civil engineering in Canada and seven years of research experience in large-scale civil engineering projects.

I implement active learning approaches through think-pair share, group quizzes, and team projects depending on which course material. Tutoring teaching methods mimic my in-class methods to help students develop an understanding of the course material through several levels of Bloom's taxonomy of learning.
