About Mazel
I graduated magna cum laude from the Honors College at Houston Community College and am currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science with a minor in Statistics at Texas A&M University. With over 5 years of experience tutoring students of all ages up to high school, I am dedicated to helping students excel in their academic journey.
During my time in college, I also volunteered as a tutor for AP Statistics and AP Macroeconomics for about a year.

I specialize in one-on-one and small group sessions consisting of 3-5 students, to ensure that each student receives the personalized attention they need. My primary focus is on math and science subjects, though I tutor across all academic areas. My approach includes teaching test-taking strategies, helping students develop note-taking techniques, and guiding them in organizing and prioritizing their assignments for optimal exam preparation.
I strive to make learning and studying enjoyable by incorporating fun and engaging methods. I believe that when students find joy in what they are learning, they are more motivated to succeed and retain information better.
I make it a priority to assess each student's strengths and weaknesses, adjusting my teaching methods accordingly. By providing consistent feedback and using positive reinforcement, I aim to build confidence and encourage academic growth. My goal is to propel students toward mastery of their subjects, improving both their GPA and their overall understanding.
