About Ujjayini
I am a Biotechnology student. My main areas of interest include cell and molecular biology, bioinformatics and genetics. In my college, I'm currently a subsytem head of a team which takes part in the iGEM competition where I'm working on developing a novel biopesticide. In college I take regular sessions to teach my juniors basics of synthetic biology. I devote my spare time teaching school students. In the past I have taught middle, high school students in online mode and junior school students in an NGO.

I believe in interactive and personalised teaching as no two students are the same. Keeping the school syllabus in mind, while explaining a topic I include animation videos, diagrams, flowcharts and extra reference materials followed by regular assessments to make sure that the concepts are clear. As someone who believes studies should not be limited to curriculum textbooks, I encourage students to do the same by providing additional resources in their area of interest to encourage them to pursue their passion.
