About Richard
I am currently a third year Chemical Engineering major at UCR. Although I just started tutoring, I've found myself in the past able to help my friends understand course materials and I've breezed through these topics. My motto is that if I can explain these concepts to someone and get them to understand it, then I've truly mastered it.

My teaching approach is I like to go over the material (could be textbook or problems) and figure out what the student is stuck on. Then I go over the concepts and explain and guide them through thoroughly. Then I like to have them work on some practice problems to see if they have a grasp on the material. If they still need help, I will work out more examples and explain the concept again. Then I will have them perform practice problems to test their mastery on the concept.
