About Miguel
I am a student and have little experience tutoring. I was recently teaching my brother maths at home and I realised that my methods of showing him was much simpler and easier than what he was being taught. I'm a peoples person and have clear ways for students to understand the subject as simply as possible.

When I first meet a student I would have to establish what level they are currently working at. This would start with a test, letting the student know that they do not have to get everything right and to do as much as they could. This would allow me to see what areas the student needs improvement on and areas that the student feels more comfortable in. After this I would start building the students understanding of the topic and the processes needed to get to the answer. The one thing that I am harsh on is that students must show their working out/method. This is because if they make a small calculation error then they will still get marks from showing the correct steps.
