About Esteban
My name is Esteban Pena I'm 19 years old, I was born in Puerto Rico and moved to Florida last year. I am currently pursuing an Aerospace engineering degree at EFSC. I like to fish, hike and play video games at home in my free time. I also have a strong passion for learning math which I hope to pass down to any of my students.

My teaching method focuses on breaking down math concepts into clear, step-by-step explanations, personalizing each method to the individual student. A typical lesson begins with reviewing what the student already knows, then moving into any new material the student needs to learn at a pace that allows the student to breathe. I would encourage questions throughout the lesson, then do a quick little review section at the end to make sure the student is understanding what he/she is learning. What sets me apart as a tutor is patience and my ability to explain the same concept in multiple ways until it clicks for the student. Also due to studying engineering I am actively using these methods in my own classes ensuring I don't teach outdated math. My lessons would be for any level of student from middle school Algebra to even high school or college Calculus 1.
