About Afrouz
I am a Ph.D. student in mechanical engineering at the University of Alberta. I have a strong background in math and physics. I had previously taught mathematical concepts of mechanical engineering to engineering students during my Master's. I can help you be good enough at these concepts.

I am fine with in-person and online classes. My lesson plan depends on the student. I believe in establishing a connection with the student and getting to know their comfort level first. I am a Ph.D. student at UofA, so I understand what kind of difficulties a student can face and we can work it out together.
I like to give students a chance to ask any questions right at the beginning of the lesson about the content they covered in class. Then I make lessons catered to the student's needs for example if they learn best with visuals, I have resources for that. If a conversation about hard topics works better, I can do that too. I like to make each topic easy to understand and approachable for students. I like to give practice materials because they ensure that the student can make the information learned more concrete and don't have to memorize it too hard.
