About Brandon
I am a Biomedical Engineering student at UMass Amherst dedicated to making complex STEM concepts accessible and intuitive. My academic foundation is built on rigorous coursework, including Ordinary Differential Equations, Statics, Dynamics, and Physics, which allows me to bridge the gap between abstract theory and practical application.
Beyond the classroom, I am a competitive chess player and an engineering 'maker'. Whether I am designing functional components in Autodesk Fusion 360 for 3D printing or solving complex force equilibrium problems, I focus on the 'why' behind every formula. I bring this project-based mindset to my tutoring, helping students master subjects like Calculus and Physics by seeing how they function in the real world.

An important question to ask as an Engineer is "Why?" So, I don't just teach formulas; I teach how they apply to the real world! Whether it's understanding calculus through physics simulations or Biology through an engineering lens, I focus on the "why" so you never have to solely rely on memorization.

Brandon is an incredible mathematics teacher! I am a second-year college student at UMass Boston, and I was struggling to grasp the topics of Calculus 2. Brandon, with his Biomedical Engineering background, was able to effectively teach me the concepts that I was struggling with, allowing me to work through the problems and develop a deeper understanding of the concepts that even my professor couldn’t teach me! I recommend Brandon for all your STEM course needs, as he will help break down the concepts with you in ways you will understand!
