About Sahaib
Hello there, my name is Sahaib and I am an engineering student at the University of Western Ontario. I am studying Mechatronics Systems engineering with a combined degree in AI Systems engineering, in other words, I like maths. I like mathematics so much in fact that I've been teaching it to all of my friends for most of my school career. In doing this, I've found that my liking and intellectual curiosity only grow. Aside from being a nerd, because I do have other interests, I like playing and listening to music as well as playing and watching hockey. If you're looking for a fun way to learn maths and make a friend, you're in the right place.

I find teaching to be a rewarding pursuit. It is an activity where I can improve an aspirant's knowledge of a subject while refining my understanding of the topics. I understand how learning styles vary and have sought to develop customized lesson plans to accommodate each style. The overarching themes of my teaching involve constant feedback and engagement from the student, this ensures that they are engaged and focused while also building a natural curiosity in the topic of study. I also use the idea of recursion consistently in my lesson plan where we end the lesson with the same example as started to observe the growth and retention of understanding. My greatest strength as an instructor lies in my interest in self-studying various concepts and ideas. Through this, I've developed a grasp over the overwhelming feeling of learning something and the steps to overcome that feeling to thrive and succeed.
