About Ellen
I am a Virginia Tech undergraduate engineering student, double majoring in both electrical and computer engineering. I used Inventor software throughout four years of high school courses, as well as through the first year college engineering courses; during first-year design projects, I was also the design and autoCAD lead on my teams, and regularly tutored students struggling in the course. Additionally, I have experience working with CAD software through experiences as an engineering intern, and as a Design and Prototyping NASA HUNCH Contractor.

I generally give lessons to college students in engineering programs, with beginner or intermediate level autoCAD experience. I know that a lot of the tools and uses for Inventor can be very overwhelming, so I like to start by teaching shortcuts and my favorite go-tos for different kinds of builds. Time is really needed to have a natural understanding of which building tools will be most efficient, so I focus on teaching those tools, as well as useful strategies for approaching design projects.
