About Vertex Mathematics
Vertex Mathematics was founded by two recent HSC graduates who between them achieved ATARs of 98.45 and 92.15, with results including 98 in Extension 1, 95 in Extension 2, and 94 in Extension 1 Mathematics. We started this center because we know firsthand what it takes to perform at the top of the HSC, and we want to give students the structured, personalized support that actually moves the needle.

At Vertex Mathematics we follow a simple three-step method: Diagnose, Build, Excel. Every student starts with a free consultation where we identify exactly where they stand, what gaps are holding them back, and what a clear path forward looks like.
Sessions run for 90 minutes for junior students (Years 7 to 10) and 2 hours for senior students (Years 11 to 12). We offer both private one-on-one lessons and small group classes, in-person at our Parramatta centre or online.
Our tutors are recent HSC graduates who achieved top results in the same subjects they now teach. We know the syllabus, we know the exam, and we know where students lose marks.
Every student receives a personalised learning plan, weekly homework with detailed feedback, and ongoing support between sessions. If there is no measurable improvement by the end of the term, we give a full refund.
