About the lesson

I am a first-time tutor. I aim to provide support for students in gaining a better understanding of subject matter. I would ask them which areas they personally struggle with in particular, and then demonstrate to them ideal approaches to these issues, tackling each at a rate that suits the student. I look to train students so that they become familiar with how to approach an exam/essay question, using structures that will gain them higher marks. It is important, however, that I am told the exam board/s for their courses so that I may familiarise and prepare myself beforehand to teach according to their requirements.
