About Janel
I am currently a stay at home mom of two sweet children (ages 2 and 1). I graduated in 2010 from Western Washington Univerity with a degree in Elementary Education and English. I spent two years substitute teaching, two years teaching middle school in Spain, three years teaching high school in Kosovo, 1 year tutoring online and one year tutoring in person. Teaching is my passion. When I'm not teaching I am listening to teaching podcasts or compiling teaching materials for future lessons. I love teaching English in all capacities the most because as someone who struggled with dyslexia in school and married to someone who learned English as a third language I know the struggles and the importance of students being given every opportunity to excel with the best help possible.
