About Caitlin
I am a French and English Literature tutor currently pursuing a join honours at university of Glasgow. I have experience tutoring in both French and English for a year, and achieved a's at both subjects in advanced higher and at university. I worked in France as an au pair for a year before coming to uni, and have a passion for both french and english! I have just finished a summer teaching english in China, working towards my tefl and gaining lots of valuable teaching experience. I am most familiar with the Scottish system but the skills needed to do well are easily transferable. I have also taught a wide variety of ages- from 3 year olds up to those preparing for important exams, so i know how important it is to have a tutor that makes you feel confident you can do well no matter what it is for.

I like to cater my classes to the needs of the people i'm teaching. I have taught people who simply wanted to learn english/french for fun, and i have also taught those who want extra help in order to succeed in exams. Of course my lessons are different depending on these needs, but i always try to keep them casual, fun and well structured so that both the student and i can feel us progressing.
