About Maria
I've been in teaching for four years. So far I've been mostly teaching French in schools, both as a native and as a foreign language.
However, I have also given private lessons in French and English over these years.
In 2017, I went to the US for an internship in holistic education and after a few months flew to China to teach English in a Chinese-English bilingual holistic kindergarten.
I currently live in Finland where I pursue music studies in addition to my passion of teaching and learning languages.

Hi, I'm Maria!
I have received teacher training in Finland to teach English and French. I'm specialized in secondary and high school but can also teach other levels and to adults.
Moreover, having studied French literature in Lyon and taught French as a native language in a secondary school in Isère for six months, I'm familiar with the French national education curriculum and can thus tutor secondary school students having difficulties with the subject.
Finnish is my mother tongue, and I have some experience in teaching Finnish as a volunteer to a group of immigrants in Helsinki.
My aim is to make learning fun and engaging with lessons tailored to the needs and desires of each student.
