About Anthony
My name is Anthony and I am currently completing an undergraduate law degree at a Russell Group University, I aim to create an engaging and adaptive learning environment for each of the students I take on, focusing on efficient exam preparation techniques that help students both retain information and deepen their understanding of how to approach long form essay questions. I ensure that through my malleable approach to tutoring students are able to both stay engaged in the lessons I provide and deepen their ability to critically think and question the propositions put forth not just in the questions and ideas they face in exams, but in the broader world that waits beyond them.

My own personal academic experiences have made clear to me the need to tailor lessons to the individual, not just the exam, and it is through this principle that I approach teaching, first preparing activities aimed at understanding a student's skills and weaknesses and adapting subsequent lessons with respect to these weaknesses. Teaching should not be a series of checkboxes but instead a mould shaped by a student's individual circumstances. This adaptation will depend on both the ability of the student and the position they are at in their academic journey with my activities aiming to both engage and build a rapport with students that both solidifies their understanding and helps them to view learning as more than just a mandatory stepping stone to their future aspirations. My lessons are undertaken online with flexibility across all online conferencing platforms for students undertaking GCSEs and A-Levels.
