About Evangeline
I graduated from the University of York with an upper 2:1 in English and History and I am now studying Security Studies at UCL. I was a Student Ambassador at the University of York and worked with groups of high school students to develop critical skills in preparation for exams as well as tutoring others here in Stoke-on-Trent to prepare for GCSE exams.

My teaching method is flexible and I like to spend some time listening to the student to understand what they have studied, what they have not studied, and what they would like me to help them with. I approach each topic from a student-led perspective; I listen and learn from the student to determine what works and does not work for them to ensure that the lessons are as tailored and helpful as possible.
When at high school, I often struggled with confidence, therefore a central part of my tutoring is about building confidence and encouraging the student to enjoy the subject.

My cancellation policy: If you need to cancel a tutoring lesson please let me know as soon as possible. I understand that sometimes things change, but please let me know at least 3 hours before the time the lesson is due to start if you can no longer attend.
