About Ben
I am a qualified English and Modern History teacher. I have a Masters of Teaching as well as an undergraduate degree of a Bachelor of Arts. I have taught years 7-12 the subjects of English (advanced, standard, extension 1/2), modern and ancient history and humanities. I have also studied film and media at a university graduate level. From an English standpoint, I specialise in creative writing and literacy skills. I also offer extensive and in-depth assessment and examination preparations for all years (7-12)

From a teaching standpoint, I believe working either one-on-one or within a small group of students is vital to student development. Students need to have the opportunity to readily ask questions in order to have the confidence and ability to learn and understand concepts. My tutoring focuses on giving students such opportunities.
