My lessons are very engaging and tailored to suit a student’s individual needs. We start with a learning objective and a written expectation of what we plan to accomplish by the end of the lesson. I will have an activity to check for understanding, followed by another activity to either establish understanding or challenge your prior knowledge. As the lesson progresses, so does the rigor! My lessons involve what I call gradual release. At the start, we work together but by the end of the lesson, I will give you what’s called a demonstration of learning to ensure you’ve mastered that skill.
