About Libby
I am a senior English and Linguistics double major working towards my undergrad degree. One of the places where I have improved the most in my writing was in my time studying at Oxford University in England. In my tutorials there, I had to read about 1,000 words and write an eight-page essay every week. Then, I would go to my one-on-one tutorial to discuss my essay and what I had read during the week. During this process, I received a large amount of helpful feedback on my writing that has helped to greatly improve it. Also, I learned a lot about how to give feedback.
In both my time at Oxford and the time I have spent being a tutor myself at my school, I have a lot of experience being at both ends of the tutoring situation. Therefore, I have learned what works and what does not. This experience will be hugely helpful in our tutoring sessions together!

In my three years of undergrad, I have taken many English, literature, and linguistics classes in which I have been able to greatly improve my skills in this area as well as how to help others. I also work as a tutor at my college where I regularly assist students with the exact assignments you might need help with!
I can work with students of any level and experience, and no assignment is too small! In a tutoring session with me, we would walk through the assignment together as we assess where you are and what needs to be done. Then we will make a game plan of how to best tackle the work, creating concrete action steps. Then, we would get to work on executing that plan!
