About Zenaide
My name is Clarice Meyer, I’m interested in tutoring and expanding your knowledge because I was once in your shoes. I met a tutor on this site, that helped me so much and helped me achieve way beyond my goals. I met a friend and someone I could ask for help at any time. I remember in High School how tedious Mathematics and English lessons were, I’ve always looked back and swore to never make the same mistake. I fell in love with these subjects after high school and that’s all I really want to do, to help children fall in love with these subjects.
How do I make someone fall in love with subjects that are usually described as difficult and tedious? Well, it’s simple. The secret is to get to know each individual, find out what they enjoy doing and apply it to the subject.
An example; I had a student that enjoyed painting, so patterns and geometry become more interesting to her when explaining how the two relate. She now describes her mathematics as if it were a painting but really, it was all about understanding in a way that best suits her.
