About Georgia
I am an English and Philosophy graduate from the University of Bristol. I successfully worked with KS3 Refugee students, helping them build basic maths and english skills. A lot of them had very minimal English speaking abilities so I became adept at communicating using fun visual exercises. However, I am fully equipped to teach a more advanced level too, as I have proved myself during both my own examinations and helping my peers. I was a peer mentor in school and built up a good rapport with younger students. I am about to start an Msc in Gender and International Relations in October and I have frequently thought about a career in teaching.

I would approach tutoring in a fun and accessible way, depending on what you wanted to get out of your lessons. If you need help preparing for exams I have many resources to aid your revision in the most effective way. I want to make revision satisfying and effective in a way that makes you proud of your work and eager to go further. Having done an English degree, I want to encourage you to love the subject and the books you are learning in a way that adheres to your curriculum but ultimately goes beyond that.
