About Jus
Hi all! I’m Justin, Jus for short.
I’m Australian Asian, born in Malaysia and my family immigrated to Australia when I was a kid so I guess you could call me an Aussie bloke (Australian slang for "guy").
I have a business degree from an Australian University and an Master (MFA) in photography while studying in Paris. I have work experience in financial systems working for the Australian Government and Universities and I’m also working in Asia as a freelance photographer.
I am a professional teacher with over 14 + years experience in teaching English including daily conversation, travel and business, news discussions, TED TALKS, interviews,TOEIC etc. I also teach special hobby classes such as photography, wine and cocktail English. (ask)
Where have I taught? Well, I’ve taught at GABA, Berlitz, B-cafe, One-up, WE Japan, Anchor, English Village and various other schools for many years. In addition, I’ve taught English courses specializing in the beauty industry at a college in Tokyo.

I have all materials including textbooks, homework sheets, news articles so you don’t need to buy anything. For each student, I will set goals and do a level check during the trial lesson and create a custom plan for you to follow to reach your goal.
My aim is to have customized, productive and fun lessons for each student according to your goals and needs. I am not just having a chat - my goal is always to help improve student weaknesses and to reach their goals. I can be easy-going and fun or strict and serious, just tell me what you prefer.
I enjoy discussing a wide variety of subjects including daily life & current affairs, entertainment, arts & culture, film & music, technology, fashion & interiors, travel and sports. I love traveling (over 25 countries), eating out and drinking, vintage clothing shops, cooking, hydroponics and trading cryptocurrency amongst many other things.
