About Jackie
I am a highly dedicated English-as-a-second-language teacher with a genuine passion for helping you communicate with clarity and confidence. With ten years of specialist IELTS teaching experience, I bring a wealth of knowledge and real-world expertise to every lesson. I have taught in-class and online with students all around the world.
My qualifications include a recognised TEFL certificate with an IELTS specialisation, and I also work as a Communication and Pronunciation Coach, helping students speak English more naturally and effectively in both professional and everyday settings.
My commitment to your success goes beyond simply teaching exam techniques. I am here to mentor, guide, and encourage you throughout your entire language-learning journey. Whether you are preparing for Academic or General Training IELTS, working to improve your pronunciation, or developing your overall communication skills, I am dedicated to helping you reach your goals and perform at your very best.

I offer a free 30-minute introductory session for students who are serious about starting paid lessons. This is not just a "free lesson". It is an opportunity for us to assess your current level, discuss your goals, and explore how I can best help you achieve them.

English Communication Coaching:
Effective communication is about far more than grammar and vocabulary. It's about being understood clearly and confidently in any situation. As a Communication Coach, I work with students who want to express themselves more naturally and fluently in English, whether for work, study or everyday life.
Personalised IELTS Preparation — Academic & General Training:
Every IELTS student is different, which is why I tailor every lesson to your specific needs, target score and timeline. Whether you need to strengthen your Writing Task 2, build confidence in Speaking, sharpen your Reading strategies, or train your ear for the Listening test, I will design a structured learning plan built around you. With Ten years of specialist IELTS experience, I know exactly what examiners are looking for, and I'll make sure you do too.
Pronunciation Training:
A strong accent or unclear pronunciation can hold you back, both professionally and socially. I offer personalised pronunciation coaching to help you speak more clearly, reduce misunderstandings, and communicate with the confidence you deserve.
Business English:
In today's professional world, strong communication skills give you a real competitive edge. I can help you develop the language and confidence you need to present, negotiate and communicate effectively in English-speaking workplaces and international business settings.

The first free lesson with Jackie will allow you to get to know each other and clearly specify your needs for your next lessons.

Details
Terms and Conditions:
Payment must be paid at least 48 hours prior to class (no classes will be booked until payment has been made).
Block bookings are non-refundable.
All classes will be on Zoom, unless agreed otherwise (once classes have been paid for, the lesson link will be sent).
If a student cancels a class 12 hours or more before the scheduled class, there will be no charge. If a student cancels a class with less than 12 hours before the class, they will be charged for the lesson.
All block booking lessons must be completed within (1) 7 weeks for bookings of 5 lessons (2) 12 weeks for bookings of 10 lessons.
Block booking lessons are to remain on the day and time made at the time of booking (except for occasional rescheduling).
Block booking lessons are non-transferable (they can’t be changed to another lesson type, or given to another student).
