About Viktoriya
Hi everyone!
I am a dedicated graduate student in Psychology at McGill University. I have a B.A. in Psychology from McGill University, as well as a minor in Italian Studies. My academic background in Psychology has taught me an understanding of interpersonal relationships, and the ability to pay attention to details and to work as hard as I can! My studies in Italian have transmitted me a passion for foreign cultures and an understanding of how languages are learned best!
I speak four languages (French, English, Italian, and Bulgarian), therefore I have a good understanding of the structure of Latin, Slavic and Germanic languages,.

For me, the first goal of language learning is to communicate with others efficiently and without any stress of making mistakes. My lessons will first focus on teaching you common vocabulary, verbs, and cultural phrases to help you navigate your specific environment. There will be an emphasis on practicing oral expression using the vocabulary that you have learned with me. As well, I will encourage you to become interested in the Canadian/English culture while learning the language, because I think it is the best motivation to learn a new language!
