About Stephanie
I am certified in teaching English as a foreign language (TEFL) and helped to build the curriculum for the ESL classes I taught in my hometown. I have also tutored native English speakers in writing and literature at every level, from small children to working teachers seeking graduate degrees. My students have graduated from South University, Capella University, University of the Virgin Islands, Catawba College, and master’s degree programs at the University of North Carolina.

Hi! My name is Stephanie, and I have been working as an English tutor since 2008, working with both native speakers and second-language learners. I am a published author, with fiction credits at Moon Drenched Fables and Copper Wire, and nonfiction credits at the Salisbury Post and Charlotte Observer. I worked for several years as a blogger and am now returning to teach! I am also a musician and active in my community.
