About Savitri
My name is Savitri Sri-Anan. I am currently an Assistant Teacher of Design and Technology Department at Shrewsbury International School from Jan 6th,2020 to the present.
I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in English major from Phranakorn Rajabhat University with GPA: 3.29 in 2009.
Due to this virus pandemic, I can not go to work as my normal routine at the school, so I would like to find a part-time job to teach an English language online as a Tutor. I miss teaching children and give them some knowledge while having fun and exchanging opinions with them.
I graduated with a 120 hours TEFL course from Samui TEFL School in Choeng Mon Beach, Samui, Suratthani Province, Thailand on Oct, 4th, 2019.
Where I had a teaching practice with a K1-2 students at Tonkra Nursery and Kindergarten Koh Samui and K1-2 students at Oonrak International School in Samui. I created some lesson plans and teaching resources with my classmates. I am very passionate about teaching and taking care of kids.
Moreover, I was an English teacher volunteer at Toet Thai Border Patrol 87 School for teaching a grade 1 student for 1 month and 2 weeks which had 22 students in the class. The students are mixed with Northern Thai, Burmese, Chinese, and Thai Northern Mountain Tribes.
My previous career as an English Contact Center Agent both in Bangkok Bank from Feb 18th to May 31st, 2019 and TMB bank from Sep to Nov 2018. From February 22nd, 2016 until February 22nd, 2018, I was a server of The Thai Lounge in The Ritz Carlton Bahrain Hotel and Spa.
And I also have earned working experiences as a customer service agents in aboard. I had an internship at Stuart, Florida in Subway restaurant from 2009 to 2010. I had been working as a hospitality filed from 2009 to 2015 in the United States of America in Texas and Ohio and my positions were mostly a hostess and a server in Thai restaurants.

I use a Flashcards, some Real objects, some Gestures to introduce a new vocabularies. I also teach kids how to pronounce the words for 3 or 4 times and let them repeat the words after me. I give them some compliments and try not to say that they pronounce the words wrong, but say to them that you do a good job could you try to say the word for me again.
