About Raeez
I am an avid reader and writer, with several pieces published online and in print.
I enjoy South African and postmodern literature, as well as fantasy and some works from the medieval and dark ages.
I majored in Italian at university, and so appreciate the works of writers such as Dante Allighieri and Pirandello.
My favourite book must be The God of Small Things by Arundathi Roy. I enjoying teaching and engaging my learners in gripping real life stories about anything that interests them. I get along amiably with all my learners and have always yielded excellent results, even in those who thought they could never do it.

* I like to be real with my students, in other words, I speak to them in a style that they are used to, in order to make them understand me and then the content more fully.
*Once they have grasped the content, I get into the lesson by taking them through it, using very elements such as visual presentations, and other appealing methods.
*Storytelling is an integral part of my lesson methodology as it engages the learners- particularly stories that resonate with where they are.
*I like to boost learners' confidence by never throwing them into deep end, but rather encourage them to make their way towards it on their own.
