I am a lover of books and reading, a love that I try to
impart on my students! I also enjoy painting, embroidery, and creativity in general. I play the piano, hockey and I also swim three times a week.

My lessons typically last one hour and are a mix of discussion and practise. I adapt my lesson to meet the child's needs (focusing on confidence building, accuracy, comprehension etc.) and develop an atmosphere of mutual respect and understanding. I tutor students between the ages of 5 and 18, and usually provide my own resources. However, I am very happy to focus the lesson on tutee-provided questions, or help with homework. I have 4 years experience, ranging from basic comprehension, to analysing Othello at A Level. Ultimately, I hope to impart on my students a love of English and reading!
