About Kristen
I am an experienced homeschool educator who enjoys helping students develop strong writing and language skills. After years of teaching my own children and working with groups of homeschool students, I have developed a patient and encouraging teaching style that helps students gain confidence in their abilities.
I focus on helping students organize their thoughts, expand vocabulary, and build the skills they need to become clear and effective writers.
I strive to create a positive learning environment where students feel supported and capable.

I believe every student can learn the fundamentals of English and writing with a patient and encouraging approach. After years of teaching my own children as well as leading classes for homeschool students, I enjoy helping young writers grow in confidence and skill. My writing lessons are based on the Institute for Excellence in Writing (IEW), a highly respected program widely used in homeschooling communities to teach clear structure, strong vocabulary, and effective communication.
