About Daniel
Hello! I am an English Literature and Irish Folklore Graduate of UCD looking for some students seeking out grinds in English and/or History (I can also give introductory guitar/music lessons!) Offering the insights and knowledge gained from my own school days as well as university, I am eager to tutor to each individual student's specific needs and queries. For fun and leisure, I like to write songs, work on amateur films with friends and keep fit and healthy pucking a sliotar about or swimming in the sea! Lessons will typically run per hour.
An introductory lesson (free of charge) will consist of conducting specific aims and goals of student for the future. This may consist of clarifying and/or reviewing of pre-existing material provided to the student elsewhere - such as school - or conducting a new syllabus/material based on initial meeting. This is to ensure the specific needs and areas of most importance to each student is met and efficiently dealt with.
Alongside my BA in English Literature and Irish Folklore, I have considerable classroom experience in my current full-time role as a teacher of English as a second language to teenage exchange students in Dublin. In this respect, I would recommend myself mostly for students within the Junior Cycle of secondary school (approx. between 11-15) however students within the Senior Cycle (15-18) are welcome to enquire with me.
