About Lara
I'm Lara. I completed my Honours degree in English through the University of Witwatersrand. I have been passionate about English my entire life and I thoroughly enjoy discussing texts and poems with others as I believe that they are fundamental in understanding human nature, history and thought. I love motivating students with thought-provoking concepts and questions as well as encouraging them to develop their own opinions and perspectives of narratives.

My methodology involves discussions about literary texts to motivate student engagement, as well as emphasizing points of consideration. I assist students in developing a comprehensive understanding of narratives that allows them to contemplate the stylistic choices of authors and their purpose.

Details
My rates are R200 per hour. I do, however, encourage longer lessons to adequately discuss novels and their content. Therefore, I charge R350 for 2 hour sessions.
