About Laurence
After a master degree in translation obtained in Brussels in 1995, I made numerous stays in Anglo-Saxon countries before settling in Italy where I became a teacher, translator and linguistic consultant for more than 20 years. During my career, I specialized in various fields and among others in the teaching of French as a foreign language, the teaching of English at an early age from the age of 2/3, professional French,teaching of Italian for French speakers, preparation for DELF - DALF certification .....

I like to follow my students from A to Z and I attach a lot of importance to their motivation, the engine of their learning. I try to identify the personality, the strengths and the weaknesses of each one so as to personalize my lessons according to the requirements of each one. At the start of the course, I draw up a sheet for each student with the objectives to be achieved and the course to follow. I make the most of the lessons to refine the communicative part while the written part will be performed independently by the students. For most languages, I adopt a method that is both INDUCTIVE (which leads the student to discover the rules by himself) and CONSTRASTIVE (which insists on the different points between languages). Each course is adapted according to the age group and the learning pace. Recently, due to the epidemic, I specialized in distance learning on ZOOM platform.

Laurence est véritablement une super prof qui m'a permis de réussir plusieurs examens de littérature italienne dans le cadre de mes études de langues et lettres françaises et romanes. J'ai pu récupérer en un mois seulement les bases d'italien qui étaient encore trop lacunaires et préparer différents textes écrits en vue de mes examens. Le tout s'est fait à distance et sans le moindre souci via l'outil Zoom. Laurence est à l'écoute, disponible et patiente. Je la recommande vivement !

Laurence est une personne qui est tout d'abord agréable et donc un accueil très positif pour mon fils de 21 ans et moi 55 ans. Elle met l'accent sur la relation avec chacun de nous. Il y a de la bonne humeur et un aspect ludique lors des échanges et bien entendu, une grande expertise. On progresse assez rapidement et surtout on a envie de poursuivre.
