About Jhanay
I want to help young people achieve their goals and make themselves proud. Learning can be difficult, especially in a big classroom, but:
- I am prepared to tailor my lesson plans to each students individual needs.
- I am prepared to put in as much effort as possible to help each student understand the areas they wish to improve.
- I am prepared to take the students lead and listen to their learning style and how I can best support them.
I have 6 years of experience working with young people and have learnt so much and I would love to use my knowledge to help support other young people on their academic journey.

Hi, My name is Jhanay and I am a recent graduate from Warwick University where I studied English Language and Linguistics.
My personal approach to helping young people with learning requires the students to acknowledge what they specifically need to work on. From there we will devise an appropriate plan to work towards the students goals. This plan will look different for each student depending on their individual needs and learning style.
My main subjects are English Literature (GCSE & A-Level), English Language (GCSE & A-Level) and Sociology (A-Level)
I have been working with young people for 6 years and I hope to make them feel engaged and passionate about what they are learning.
