About Jack
I am an English Language and Literature graduate from Lancaster University, achieving a 2:1 in my subject. I'm currently based in Madrid for a year, so my focus will be through online tutoring. Whilst I am relatively new to the online tutoring experience, I have helped a number of students excel in their studies of GCSE English! Focusing on GCSE and A Level students, my teaching methods are based on creating a great rapport with my students to ensure that I know what they want to study and what they're struggling on, rather than me simply lecturing about a specific topic. I structure my lessons so that, after the discussions on the topic, we can have a moment of reflection to discuss how the student found the lesson and what they struggled with the most. I feel that it is essential to have these moments as these lessons and subjects can be extremely challenging to wrap your head around. I am patient and I am always open to answering any questions at all about the subject!
