About Evelyn
I have been an avid reader all my life and a very successful student in both English Language and Literature as well as History, currently averaging at a First in my Medieval History degree. Tutoring during the pandemic taught me to overcome many challenges, such as students not having access to resources and key texts so I guarantee to make whatever situation and crisis work for my students and teaching over 70 lessons already has given me a broad knowledge of current GCSE and A-Level texts.

My lessons are aimed at GCSE and A-Level students, using a variety of techniques and activities including writing to a brief, pop quizzes and informative videos. In my other tutoring role, lessons usually last up to an hour but I am more than capable of adapting that to what suits the student and as I have taught students with a variety of needs.
Regarding qualifications, I am currently a third year Medieval History student with high grades in both History and English throughout my education and many of the skills being transferable between subjects, making them easy for me to teach.
